Hi and welcome to Booketlist!
Hi! I’m Elle-Mya, the book and movie lover behind Booketlist. A little Etsy shop born out of my love for storytelling and colourful art. I started this shop as a way to bring my favourite characters to life through handmade bookmarks, badges, mugs and more. Every design is a tribute to the books and films that sparked my imagination.
But recently, life has taken me on a new adventure....university! I’m now living by the whimsical sea, renting a room in student halls (with no space for machinery or stock!) and with a schedule packed full of lectures and studying, as much as I wanted to keep the creative magic flowing, I knew I couldn’t do it all.
So I turned to the one person I knew could carry the Booketlist torch: my mum.
She’s not only incredibly creative, but she also runs her own Etsy shop and truly knows her stuff. From packing orders to adding new designs (and sewing up a storm), she’s stepped in to keep Booketlist alive and growing.
I’ve always admired her creative energy, and now it’s so special to share this project together, even from a distance.
My shop is in the safest hands, and together we’re continuing to bring new characters and ideas to life, blending our styles and passions.
Booketlist is more than just a shop, it’s a mother-daughter story, a shared joy for the world of fiction and fantasy! Even though I’m far from home, it’s comforting to know that a little part of me is still creating, thanks to my mum. We always video chat and I sign off all the designs and have a cuppa and a natter while we share ideas. Thank you for joining us and supporting us. It would be no fun without you!
