I've written our books and lesson plans to share my knowledge and skills so anyone can teach swimming. They are designed with an extremely clear step-by-step approach, suitable for beginner swimmers of all ages.

My books emphasize safety practices throughout the learning process, covering where to teach, water awareness, breathing techniques, buoyancy and rescue methods. Along with guidelines of how you can create a safer learning environment as you supervise the lesson.

We do this by providing easy to understand illustrations and descriptions of correct technique. From where to place your hands and fingertips when swimming freestyle, how to turn your feet out for breaststroke, how to time your butterfly so you can swim it with less effort, how to kick for backstroke to ensure you stay streamline and SO MUCH MORE!!

YES!! Swimming teachers can use our books to create fun and creative lesson plans and I guarantee you will learn stuff you did not even know you needed to know to fast track your swimmer's aquatic journey.

If your goal is to get the kids at your swim school swimming ASAP and into a higher level swim squad sooner, our books will help you do it.

That's great! Use our books between lessons to accelerate their learning.

Parental involvement in learning a skill like swimming will strengthen your bonds with your child and you can personalize the lesson to suit their needs.

If you can get access to a pool with a lifeguard on duty and shallow water (no deeper than waist depth), you can learn alongside with your child.

Let the staff at the SUPERVISED POOL know you can't swim, stay in the shallow water where you can stand and hold onto the side of the pool. It is always best and advisable to bring a friend along who can swim so they can keep watch and give assistance if you need it.

For the majority of lessons for any age group bring along -
My books (pull them apart and laminate the pages and take them to the pool with you),
a kickboard,
a pool noodle and
one item that sinks
Everything else will just become a distraction or hinder progress.
Goggles are optional but I prefer swimmers not wear them until 'Level 3 Intermediate'

Our Infant Water Awareness Series are written for Babies from Newborn to Toddlers up to the age of 3yo.
