I learned to sew from my immigrant grandmother who was a master seamstress and always held a high standard for sewing construction. She instilled in me a pride of work and to also make unique clothes that one could never find in the typical stores. In college, I learned to weave from a wonderful woman from Pakistan, and the love affair with not only making clothes, but making the fabric itself began. Recently, I have fallen in love with making nuno fabric because I can use luscious wool fibers and silk with a number of special embellishments to make light, yet durable, beautiful draping fabric for my women's wear collections. I have shown my work in several fashion shows and have received much positive feedback and encouragement and sales and have often been asked, "Do you have a shop on Etsy?" so now is the time to do so! I hope you enjoy my shop and garments and will choose to wear and support the "slow fashion" movement by wearing one of a kind clothes and accessories.
