Engraved Antique Brass Faucet - Victorian Vanity Sink Tap

It all started far from showrooms and trends, in my grandfather's dusty workshop. As a child, I would spend hours watching him work the metal. I still remember the distinct smell of heated brass and the gleam in his eyes when he brought a tarnished old piece back to life. He often told me: 'Objects must have a soul, otherwise they are just things.'

As I grew up, I realized we were living in an era where everything is thrown away and replaced. I felt a visceral need to return to the essentials: creating durable, timeless objects that patina gracefully instead of deteriorating.

I founded The Brass Atelier to honor this memory. Each faucet, each piece of brass I offer is not just a bathroom accessory; it is a tribute to the craftsmanship of yesteryear. I want to transform a mundane daily gesture – turning on the water – into a moment of pure beauty.
