Clover Wood Works
As a kid, I spent a lot of time with my grandfather, a master cabinet maker, and my grandmother, one of the best chair cane weavers I've ever seen. Even at a young age, I learned a lot from my time with them. I always enjoyed working with wood and I especially like to work with reclaimed and distressed wood. The look of weathered, worn lumber makes it almost seem like it has its own story to tell.
I began building coffee pour over stands after seeing some less attractive plastic versions at a coffee trade show. I thought that the combination of rustic steel piping and the worn, distressed wood would make a great accent to anyone's coffee brewing set up.
Frames came shortly after when I was frustrated by the low quality and lack of originality of most store-bought frames. I found that I could make durable, interesting, beautiful frames for the same price as boring store bought frames, and I could customize the size and shape - something for which frame stores often charge an arm and a leg.
I'm open to any sort of project and I look forward to making something for you soon!
