Finché riesco a ricordare, l'arte è stata uno dei miei posti più sicuri e felici. Ho passato più tempo possibile a creare cose da bambino, e non è cambiato molto.

Sono cresciuto in Sud Africa e mi sono trasferito negli Stati Uniti a 9 anni. Ho studiato arte all'Università del Colorado. La pittura, il disegno, la fotografia, il ricamo e l'incisione hanno trovato la loro strada nelle mie opere d'arte - e li amo tutti per le loro qualità uniche e fantastiche.

Dopo la laurea, ho trovato Etsy e mi sono innamorato. Da allora, ho avuto l'opportunità di realizzare tutti i tipi di cose che amo, dalle onesies (che erano l'inizio di Bright July) e cuscini a dipinti originali e opere d'arte a tecnica mista.

As long as I can remember, art has been one of my safest and happiest places. I spent as much time as possible creating things as a child, and not much has changed.

I grew up in South Africa, and moved to the United States as a 9 year old. I studied art at the University of Colorado. Painting, drawing, photography, embroidery, and printmaking all found their way into my artwork - and I love them all for their own unique and fantastic qualities.

After graduation, I found Etsy and fell in love. Since then, I've enjoyed the opportunity to make all kinds of things I love, from onesies (which were the beginning of Bright July) and pillows to original paintings and mixed media art pieces.
