Hayes and Rosie are both graduates from University of Cincinnati’s College of Design, Art, Architecture, and Planning. In 2009, we founded Brush Factory, because we couldn't stop making things! We strive to produce beautiful simple things and want to share that beauty and aesthetic with others. We hope our customers share in the same joy and delight we get knowing the story behind all of the things in our home and life.
Inspired by our friends, our first collection of solid wood furniture features simple, contemporary styling paired with hand crafted details that you, your friends and family will enjoy for years to come. Each piece reflects the values of friendship and the connections made while enjoying a meal and friendly conversation. Our discerning craftsmen create Brush Factory furniture using the highest quality solid hardwood lumber and attention to detail. Built to last, each table is glue assembled with mortise and tenon joinery and hand delivered to your home. We strive to make your piece last for a lifetime of family gatherings, dinner parties, holidays and everything in between.
Wood is Good
All of our furniture is built from locally sourced sustainably harvested natural hardwood lumber. Wood is a renewable natural resource that is biodegradable, long lasting, and won't end up in a landfill like many of the other products that surround us all day. Each year U.S. forests remove the greenhouse gases emitted by 139 million cars. Harvesting levels of American hardwood are far below the level of growth. Nearly twice as much hardwood grows each year in U.S. forests as is harvested. Today, the volume of hardwoods in American forests is 90 percent larger than it was 50 years ago.
