Note from shop owner Hello beloved Etsy shoppers:
This is John Nolan, Brooke's widower. It is with great sadness that I must tell you that Brooke has passed away after her 6 year fight with cancer. Not only will I miss her very much but I'm sure that you will miss her fabulous designs and excellent customer service.
Unfortunately, Brooke's Books was structured as a Sole Proprietorship. Since I was not made the beneficiary of any of Brooke's business assets or liabilities, I will have to close this Etsy shop and close Brooke's Books Publishing as required by law. I will keep this shop on vacation mode until I can scrape together enough money to fulfill all outstanding orders. After that, Brookes Books Etsy Store will cease to exist.
I know that Brooke would want me to thank you for being the best customers and fans of her work. I thank you for all the kind words and pictures of completed projects that you messaged to her while she was alive. Even though medical science gets a lot of credit for keeping her alive, I'm sure that the well wishes and uplifting thoughts from all of you fans kept her in the fight.
