Bruce + Fox Designs started with a desire to make high quality, cute and affordable cat toys. One of our own personal cats is impressively destructive, so the store-bought toys didn't cut it for him. He also didn't react to catnip, even the super-premium blends. Through much experimentation, we found the ideal blend of pure, organic catnip AND silvervine, a relatively new find in the feline world. Silvervine is an herb that produces a similar reaction to catnip in cats, but where catnip only affects about 50% of cats, Silvervine affects 80%. And it CERTAINLY affects our Bruce Wayne! Mission accomplished.
After making several of our own cat toys, we had friends with cats asking us to sell them some, so we tentatively opened our etsy shop. We are both thankful for and humbled by the overwhelmingly positive response we've received from our customers!
Our designs are a result of many hours of fabric shopping and curation, and the materials are all chosen for durability and longevity. Cats like to "kill" their prey, so no toy should be completely indestructible, or your cat would hate it. But our toys are as close as you can get to purrfection!

Mulder was rescued from a kill shelter. He is a cuddly enigma, and spends all his time warming laps, sleeping or occasionally staring out windows, probably waiting for his extraterrestrial people to come back for him.

Fiore is our newest employee, and she enjoys testing the catnip for potency by jumping into the bin where it’s stored, and rolling around in it. When she’s not doing that, she’s meowing at everyone for cuddles.

Frequently asked questions
My toys turned green when my cat chewed them. Are they ruined?
Every toy we make is LOADED with a generous amount of catnip, more than any commercially available toy you’ll find. Due to the high amount of catnip inside them, they do stain when they’re wet. Rest assured, your cat will not be bothered by this cosmetic change, and will continue to love their Bruce + Fox toys!
My cat poked holes in his toy/ripped the ears off the mice. Why aren’t the toys more durable?
Cats don’t like toys that never take any kind of damage. They need to feel like they’ve “killed” their prey, so we’ve designed our toys to reflect that. They are durable within reason, and we do have a new line of extra durable canvas toys, but no cat toy should be indestructible. Cats wouldn’t play with them if they were!
