About Burke & Post
Hello, hello!
Burke & Post began with homemade greeting cards for my own family and friends. After persistent requests to buy them, I launched this shop to get my cards out to the masses!
Greeting cards, particularly watercolor designs in the vein of puns & pop culture references, are my forte.
Watercolor has always been my primary focus, though I love experimenting and trying new things. When it comes to painting, I typically draw my inspiration from nature and literature. Simple illustrations in the books I'm reading (e.g. maps and line drawings) are always begging to be painted!
I love art how art connects us– whether a painting on the wall that always reminds us of our favorite book, or a greeting card we send to a friend reminding her of a show we love quoting to each other.
When I'm not creating art for Burke and Post, you'll find me baking up a storm and a half in the kitchen; helping my husband, Rob, with his 3D printing Etsy shop (Printed Foundry); walking outside with our dog (Petra, a delightful black lab x german shepherd mix); or listening to a good podcast while doing house chores.
