These buttons are so unusual. I’m so happy to have them. I bought them as an option for a current project. I will be knitting a sweater just to go with these. I love how Duska packages her buttons. It’s like opening a gift !

These are even more beautiful in person. Exceeded my expectations. I love patient way Duska helped me decide if these buttons were right for my project. She made a special order with the number of buttons I needed. Professional packaged, so much fun to open and buttons sewn onto button card. I will continue to buy from her.

Antique & Vintage Buttons

I have always been fascinated by old buttons.......

It all started when, as a young girl, my mother would bring me along to her favorite fabric store in an old brick mill and drop me off at the barrel of buttons. I would sift and sort through them endlessly, admiring each face, design and scene; each a miniature work of art.
I have been hooked ever since, delighting in searching through the button tins of my grandmothers and scouring antique stores for little baskets and jars full of tiny treasures.
These days modern buttons are lacking the ornate designs and old world charm I love so much. Here, along with my antique and vintage collections, I craft reproductions of my favorite button designs for you to enjoy and use to adorn your own work.
Each handmade reproduction button is crafted by my hands, here in my studio on the coast of Maine. Check back frequently to see the new colors and designs I am always adding to the shop!
