What data do I collect

In order to fulfill your order, I will need certain data from you (which you authorize Etsy to transfer to me), including your name, email address and mailing address, payment details and information about the product you are ordering. By contacting me directly, you can also provide additional personal data (for example, if you purchase an individual piece of jewelry).

Why do I need your data and how do I use it

Based on a number of legal grounds, I collect, use and transmit your information, including:

when I need it to provide services, for example, to fulfill an order, resolve disputes or provide you with support;
when you have given your consent with the right to withdraw it at any time, for example, by subscribing to my newsletter;
when it is necessary to comply with legal requirements, execute court orders or in connection with legal claims, for example, storing information about your purchases, if required by tax law; and
to the extent necessary to comply with my legitimate interests, if these legitimate interests are no less valid than your rights or interests for example 1) providing and improving my services. I use your information to provide the services you have requested and in my legitimate interests to improve the quality of my services; and 2) compliance with the Etsy Seller's Policy and Terms of Use. I use your data to the extent necessary to fulfill my obligations in accordance with the Etsy Seller's Policy and Terms of Use.

Transfer and disclosure of information

Customer information is important to my business. I share your personal data in just a few situations for the reasons listed below:

Etsy. I transfer the data to Etsy to the extent necessary to fulfill my obligations in accordance with the Etsy Seller's Policy and Terms of Use.
Service providers. I engage some trusted third parties to perform work and provide services for my store, including delivery services. I will transfer your personal data to third parties, but only to the extent necessary to provide such services.
Transfer of business If I sell my company or it is absorbed by another company, I can disclose your data as part of such a transaction, but only to the extent required by law.
Compliance with legal requirements. I will be able to collect, use, store and transfer your data if I honestly assume that this is a reasonable and necessary step: (a) related to a legal process or a claim by the State; (b) to comply with my agreements, terms and policies; (c) to prevent, investigate and combat fraud and other illegal activities, technical and security issues; (d) to protect the rights, property and safety of my customers and others.

Data storage

I do not store your personal data for longer than is necessary to provide you with services and in accordance with my Privacy Policy. At the same time, I may have obligations to store this data in accordance with legislative and tax requirements, in connection with dispute resolution and enforcement of agreements. I usually store your data for the following time: 4 years.

Transfer of personal data outside the EU

I can store and process your information through third-party hosting services in the United States and other jurisdictions. In this way, I can transfer your personal data to a jurisdiction where the laws and regulations on data protection and state supervision differ from those in force in your jurisdiction. In cases when I transfer data about you outside the EU, the Privacy Shield certificate becomes the legal basis for such transfer, since the Google Cloud service has this certificate.

Your rights

If you live in certain regions, including the EU, you have a number of rights with respect to your personal data. Some of these rights apply in general, and some only in individual cases. I list these rights below:

Access. You may have the right to access and receive a copy of your personal data available to me if you contact me as indicated below.
Modification, restriction, deletion. You may also have the right to change, restrict my use and delete your personal data. In the absence of special circumstances (for example, legal requirements for data storage), I delete your personal data upon request.
Objection. You may object to (i) my processing of certain of your data for my own legitimate interests and (ii) receiving marketing messages from me after you have given your express consent to receive them. In such cases, I will delete your personal data, except in cases where I have good and legitimate reasons to continue using such data or if their availability is a legal requirement.
Claims. If you live in the EU and want to report a problem with my use of your data (without prejudice to any other rights that you may have), you have the right to contact the local authorities for the supervision of compliance with the legislation on personal data protection.
