By Solas began the way most good things do — with a rainy Saturday, a 3D printer, and a photo worth preserving.
We are a small handmade studio based in Hawthorne, New Jersey, founded on a simple belief: your most treasured photos deserve more than a phone screen. Every nightlight we make is printed to order, one at a time, with care — because we're not making products, we're preserving memories.
Solas is the Irish word for light. It felt like the right name for what we do.
