Hi, and welcome to Bytes & Bobs! I’m a graphic designer of sorts with a massive passion for the 80's, 90's and early Y2K pop culture.
Bytes & Bobs originally started out as a passion project engineering custom electronics for classic retro video game consoles (the Bytes). Over time, my love for retro aesthetic design naturally evolved into 3D modelling and printing physical, multi-layered memorabilia (the Bobs). Now, I dedicate my studio (read: cold, uninviting garage) to archiving the definitive tech, media, and TV logos we all grew up loving.
I work exclusively with Inkscape and Tinkercad on the design side of things and then Bambu 3D printers for the physical printing. Everything in my shop is completely vector-traced and modelled by (digital) hand in my oubliette. I print using premium materials and treat my machines with the dignity they deserve to ensure ultra-sharp lines, rich colours, and flawless finishes that look stunning alongside vintage media stacks, gaming desks, or home cinema shelves.
