Coxswain Dunsel was created out of a passion for tiki, ceramics and mid-century design. The goal has always been to produce small-batch ceramic drinking vessels that are highly intricate. The artist, Corey DeWitt, creates a handful of unique designs each year and produces limited runs at his studio in Houston, Texas.

Coxswain Dunsel affectionately means 'Captain of Nothing' and it stands for the spirit Corey brings to his art. There is never an effort to produce an exact theme or style throughout each piece, but to bring together anything and everything that is inspiring and incorporate it into the love of Tiki.
