I received my first Cricut machine Christmas of 2016. I was hooked immediately! I made several items for myself as well as family and friends. I often took my machine to my moms house to work and quickly became frustrated with they typical bags that were available to carry it in. This was an issue that I was determined to fix!

I began thinking about different bags I could buy and try, I tried several different ones, none of which I liked. One day I was getting my machine out of the bag that I was making work at the time when the light bulb went off!

I can sew, I have sewn since I was 4 years old. Why not sew my own bag that I can use that will better fit my needs? That is exactly what I did.

The easy open Cricut tote was my first design. I designed it so that the sides would open completely and the whole tote would lay flat under the machine when I used it, but then close up around the machine when I was done. This worked out great! I not only had a tote to carry my machine in but I had a mat to protect the table and my machine while I used it! And best of all it was easy to get open. No More Struggling!

I was so proud of my design that I shared if over facebook. This is when the craziness began. So many people wanted a tote for their machines as well! To many for me to handle on my own so I recruited my Mom to help me out.

And so CEDSDesigns for Cricut accessories began!

We have now expanded our design to include a zipper top bag. I found that some people just want a simple tote with a zipper top but still want it to be easy to get the machine in and out. Our zipper top bag zips with two zippers across the top as well as down both ends. This allows the bag to open up farther so the machine is easier to remove and place back in the bag.

I am so very excited to see where this adventure takes us.
