Me and my story
Me and my story
I'm Cristina, a ceramic artist based in Faenza, Italy.
I started Ceramica Nomade as a way to bring together my love for ceramics, drawing and nature.
My work is inspired by landscapes, natural elements and the relationship between people, animals and the places they live in. I use the sgraffito technique, carving drawings into the clay by hand, so that each piece carries visible marks of the making process.
I create ceramics meant to be used every day — plates, cups and objects for the home — combining functionality with a poetic, illustrated language.
The idea of “nomadic” ceramics reflects my way of working: moving between places, workshops and moments, letting nature and experience shape each collection.
Every piece is handmade and unique, with small variations that are part of its character
