I was born into a very creative and artistic family, so the need and crave to make art runs in my blood. Whether it is sewing, drawing, creating music or cooking I find that every project is a wonderful creation of art. I grew up around a lot of hair metal and classic rock which brought me up to have some rock and roll in my soul! I started going to concerts as a young teen and buying concert t-shirts - I found those boxy, baggy shirts were not flattering for us females. I started chopping them up for myself, those shirts were a hit in school and among friends! I then started expanding my work to friends. I took a long break from sewing for others and went to school to become a nurse which is my full time profession to date. I would still sew from time to time for myself since I couldn't find my favorite band shirts in the styles I wanted. I recently decided to pick back up with sewing and open my horizons.
