Absolutely beautiful original painting which was even better than we expected! The detail in the painting is so intricate and took us back to our trip to Brazil. Would 100% recommend and delivery was also right on time.

Different strokes

In 2017, aged 40, I had a life changing Stroke; it left me in hospital for four months and was followed by extensive home therapy. I had to learn how to do life again- to walk, sit up, cut up food, all of the basics. The Stroke affected my right side; whilst in hospital a friend asked if I would draw some images for them, as I am left handed, this became one of the few things I could do. It reminded me of being young, drawing with my grandad, then later studying art at college. It reignited something within me and I have been using art as rehabilitation ever since. It allows me to focus and make use of my left hand which still feels like the old me. For anyone else that’s experienced a Stroke, keep going. Don’t give up. Thank you for looking at my art.
