Hello!
I'm Cornelia "Conni" Bargull (née Schramm) and I'm a German artist. I was born in 1979 in Demmin in the heart of Mecklenburg Vorpommern and grew up in Altentreptow/Neubrandenburg and now live in beautiful Schleswig-Holstein.
I discovered my love for art and creativity at an early age: I painted, built, tinkered and loved to improvise. Nevertheless, I chose a down-to-earth education in the trade as a draughtsman.
I love architecture and the materials associated with it, nature and what time in interaction with nature creates from existing buildings. I am equally fascinated by classical modernism.
I am inspired by the past, the modern and moments from nature. I am also particularly interested in the Japanese styles Wabi-Sabi and Kintsukuroi and like to incorporate them into my works.
Structured, patinated substrates of old furniture, doors and facades as well as impressions and perceptions from nature influence the details of my pictures. For this reason, I like to include materials such as concrete, papers, stain, bitumen, natural pigments and structures made of marble flour in my artworks.
There is never a real plan for my pictures. It is a feeling and a process of creation, shaped by the external perceptions of the environment. But what is always important to me is the inner feeling of harmony and balance.
At first and second glance, my pictures should be fun and create a maximum of harmony.
The signature of my works has a very personal story, which is why I still sign my works today with the initials of my maiden name.

Ich bin Cornelia „Conni“ Bargull (geb. Schramm) und bin eine deutsche Künstlerin. Ich wurde 1979 in Demmin im Herzen Mecklenburg Vorpommerns geboren und bin in Altentreptow/Neubrandenburg aufgewachsen und lebe jetzt im schönen Schleswig-Holstein.
Meine Liebe zur Kunst und Kreativität entdeckte ich schon im frühen Kindesalter: ich malte, baute, bastelte und liebte es zu improvisieren. Trotzdem wählte ich eine bodenständige Ausbildung im Handwerk als Bauzeichner.
Ich liebe die Architektur und die damit in Verbindung stehenden Materialien, die Natur und das, was die Zeit im Zusammenspiel mit der Natur aus bestehenden Bauwerken entstehen lässt. Ebenso fasziniert bin ich von der klassischen Moderne.
Ich lasse mich inspirieren durch die Vergangenheit, das Moderne und Momente aus der Natur. Ganz besonders interessiere ich mich auch für die japanischen Stile Wabi-Sabi und Kintsukuroi und lasse diese gerne in meine Werke mit einfließen.
Strukturierte, patinierte Untergründe alter Möbel, Türen und Fassaden sowie Eindrücke und Wahrnehmungen aus der Natur beeinflussen die Details meiner Bilder. Aus diesem Grund beziehe ich Materialien wie Beton, Papiere, Beize, Bitumen, natürliche Pigmente und Strukturen aus Marmormehl gerne in meine Kunstwerke mit ein.
Für meine Bilder gibt es nie einen richtigen Plan. Es ist ein Gefühl und ein Entstehungsprozess, geformt durch die äußeren Wahrnehmungen der Umwelt. Wichtig dabei ist mir aber immer das innere Gefühl von Harmonie und Ausgewogenheit.
Auf den ersten und zweiten Blick sollen meine Bilder Spaß machen und ein Höchstmaß an Harmoniegefühl erzeugen.
Die Signatur meine Werke hat eine ganz persönliche Geschichte, weshalb ich noch heute mit den Initialen meines Mädchennamens meine Werke unterzeichne.
