Welcome to CSquaredFit! I have a bachelor's and master's in Exercise Physiology and a passion for fitness. In 2018, after years of being sedentary while battling health issues and overuse injuries from dancing as a child, I made a commitment to weight lift 3 days a week with a goal of looking like someone who exercises. From there, I was able to slowly increase workout intensity and frequency, eventually getting to a place where I could weight lift 4-5 days per week. Throughout my fitness journey, I lost 40lbs and maintained the weight loss, dropped body fat percentage from 52% to 22%, increased muscle mass, and increased my metabolism. I've always written my own workouts, and now I want to share those with you!
My workouts are based on the scientifically-proven method of progressive overload in an approachable way: consistently increasing reps, sets, and/or weight to achieve maximum results. Each workout split is 6 weeks with 8-10 exercises (45-60 minutes), which gives you ample time to master the exercises and safely increase intensity before slightly advancing those exercises in the next phase. I also dabble in crocheting, so you may see those creations available in my shop as well!
