I honestly can’t remember the first time I experimented with hand lettering - I've been a lifelong doodler in the corners of my school notebooks for years. A few years after moving to KC, I took a brush lettering course from Lauren Heim Studio - after that I was hooked.

My passion for my work comes from several sources. One is a value of beauty, in many different forms, and a deep desire to produce and foster beauty within our world. And another is a passion for helping people capture the sentiments of a special moment in an object that they can treasure forever. I do not have a favorite medium to work with; I truly love experimenting and learning a lot of different skills to express my creativity and art.
