I love to create!
I have always loved making things from the time I was a little kid. I learned to knit and crochet at an early age. My inspiration was my mom, an avid sewer and knitter. I love to make and give hand-made gifts and my shop here on Etsy allows me to share some of the things that I enjoy making. One of my fondest memories as a child was my membership in the "Kit of the Month Club". I'd eagerly await my new project and I still have a few of the items around the house still.
A few years ago, I decided it was time to upgrade my 40-year old sewing machine that was my grandmothers. I went shopping and fell in love with the free-standing lace ornaments on display. "I can make that?" I said. I purchased my first embroidery machine, and now own four of them. Christmas is my favorite time of year, which is why you will see a lot of Christmas items in my shop. I am gradually adding items to expand to an all-year inventory.
I am always open to doing a custom order, so if you see something in my shop that you like but it's just not quite your color, please inquire about something more to your taste.
