Hello! Thank you for browsing my shop :) My name is Cailey, and I'm a self-taught calligrapher who got started from the simple love of handwriting and its art form.
Growing up my family always made handmade cards for each others' birthdays. However, as someone who isn't particularly gifted in drawing, I expressed my creativity through letters. Changing the shapes, fonts, and decorations around the words is what initially started my passion for lettering. Even through school work, taking notes became another creativity outlet, which allowed me to explore lettering on a more regular basis. And building from there, my love took off as I finally bought my first set of brush markers and then some more markers and then some nibs and another nib as I started to learn and still continue to learn calligraphy.
My parents and my brother are my biggest supporters and pushed me to try to open this Etsy shop, so thanks to them for all their support and love :)
