Hunting for the items that speak to you
CallingMyName started out of a love for décor and a passion for a collected home. At a very young age, I was creating replicas of my room out of cardboard and figuring out how I could redecorate with what I had to make my room feel new. From there, the passion continued to grow as I got older and had more ability to purchase items on my own. I found redecorating spaces could make a once boring space feel fresh and updated by simply reworking what I already had and by adding a few new items.
I don't remember exactly when the passion turned toward the challenge of thrifting those items but I always feel my happiest when I'm on the hunt. I generally don't go with any expectation but when I find that perfect item, I know it. It's calling my name. Now as a mom, I have found sometimes the only way I can go antiquing/thrifting is by dragging my kids along. And because of that, my daughter Azlyn, has also gotten the bug of finding those hidden treasures. And so came along, CallingMyName. We are a mother and daughter duo who love the thrill of finding those hidden treasures. We work to find the items that call to you.
