Hi, I'm Gus. Gus Vazquez. I'm an illustrator who been drawing professionally now for over 25 years. mostly in comic books, but I've worked in many industries. Film, tv, commercials, animation, , toy design, music videos... you get it. I've enjoyed making my drawings come to life and helping to visually entertain people, and bring ideas to life, on paper and on screen. Having worked on a lot of different things, I'm always looking to do more. I have a lot of ideas, and as an artist, finding different ways to produce my art is always fun and challenging.
So, why a mug? Well, here's the the short of it. I like pirates. I like designs. I like designing things. I was looking for a cool pirate t-shirt, and couldn't find anything to purchase that spoke to me. As an artist, I thought, "What if I try and do my own design?" I worked out an initial design, showed it to some friends, and got some great feedback. With those ideas, I tweaked the design a bit, asked a few more questions, got some answers, and finished it. Then, a bunch of those people said they'd like to see it "on" something. Trying to come up with something I would want o buy, myself, and being a coffee lover, I decided, "MUG", and here we are! Short. Simple.
As for the product, these hand-crafted, ceramic mugs are decorated with a highly detailed emblem.
There are 4 styles of mug in two color choices per mug style, which holds between 14 and 16+ oz of your favorite brew.
Each mug has a nice, high curved grip, and are beautifully decorated with my original "Captain Django" design. The emblem is permanent, and has no chance of washing off.
The mug stoneware is lead free and food safe. Kiln fired to 2100°F, each piece is durable and safe for the dishwasher, oven, freezer, and microwave!
A great mug on its own with a design I hope you'll love as much as I enjoyed designing it! Supplies are limited. Once these are gone, I will be offering different style mugs at a later date. Mugs take several months for production, so once they are gone, it will some some time before new ones are available.

5 out of 5 starsI ordered a black & white sticker But not only did I get the awesome thick black & white sticker I also got a thick red & white sticker, cool pirate keychain and a amazing pirate magnet, even the box has a cool pirate logo on it and there was also a very cool pirate theme note inside. I got this for my Dad for Christmas and he will absolutely love all of it.

5 out of 5 starsJust got in a great mug from CaptainDjango's shop for the holidays. Great quality. A Deneen Mug. Beautiful glaze on it and the relief pirate design looks excellent. Nice heft, weight too. Big coffee drinker so this is right up my alley. Oh, and you get some bonus items too...stickers and a coaster. Looking forward to many other designs CaptainDjango comes up with for his products.
