An Artists looking for a new meduim
I live and work in Dunedin Florida and have been painting since I was a very small child. Painting gives me a great feeling of peace and satisfaction. As time when on I tried many different mediums and found that etching and painting on handmade candles was wonderful. Not only am I getting to create a handmade candle with all the wonderful scents you can think of but I am able to paint and carve that candle to to bring it to life.
I find this to be my true art, a true Chandler!
All My items are Smudged with Sacred White Sage and all carry a beautiful energy.
My Mother is also a great help, she makes all the ceramic Tart Burners for me and they are beautifully done. She has been doing ceramics for over 40 years and has her own kiln and hand pours all the Tart Burners.
My Father, a woodworker since 2003, makes all the handmade wood items in my shop.
His delicate and beautiful woodworking has been a wonderful asset to Captive Essence's ability to bring you handmade candle holders and accessories.
Together we make a great team and make Captive Essence what it is today. :)
