My File is Printing With Black Boxes. What can I do to Fix this?
This is a common printing issue with pdf files with an easy fix. There is no rhyme or reason to when it happens and can be extremely frustrating when you get to your printer and you see all those black boxes. First, make sure your printer and Adobe reader are both up to date. Make sure you are opening the file in ADOBE READER and not Preview or a web browser. This is the BIGGEST cause of this issue. If on a Mac, open in Adobe and not preview and if you have the option in your print settings, select "Print as Image" and then print. If you are on a PC be sure you are opening in Adobe Reader and then select "Print as Image" in your print settings and print. This will fix the black box issue and save you from wasting paper and ink.
Issues with Using the files in a Zip Folder
Many of my files will download as a zip folder. This is because I have multiple files that need uploaded to the site at one time. In order to ensure that the files work properly you must unzip the folder once you download it. Simply download the file to your computer and then right click on the zip folder and click "Extract or Extract files" From here you can access the files inside the folder and you will be able to print and use them without issue.
