This pattern is AWESOME! My 10 year old son wants to be a character from a show who gets a magical suit of armor. There are no premade costumes for this character and so I started looking around for DIY armor ideas. The templates and instructional videos from CardboardForgeShop are great! Very easy to follow and it makes a great suit of armor. The seller was also quick to respond to a question I had. I will likely buy additional templates from CardBoardForgeShop in the future since the seller offers some really cool looking weapons, too!

I looked up the video tutorial to help me, and loved the results. Might make more for the rest of the family. A page of written instructions would be helpful, but the video covered everything

Easy-to-understand construction steps with YouTube videos. Adapts well to different sizes

This is a very good pattern. Definitely watch some of the seller's videos for tips on how to assemble this. I'm very crafty so this helmet was no problem. For those who are not so crafty it may be more challenging. Mine came together quickly and looks just like the seller's. I modified the back a bit, and plan to make a second one with more modifications. That's what's great about this design- it's adaptable, simple, strong. For the next one, I'm going to cover it with a paper mache, sand it, paint it, seal it. My son will flip out. I highly recommend this seller's patterns!

I haven't built this one yet, but the templates look good. I am doing another helmet design from this seller, which is coming along nicely. I suggest watching some of the sellers videos for better instructions. These are very adaptable designs, and probably suited best for those who are already crafty and willing to experiment. You can take these designs and really get creative. I highly recommend these templates!
