YEARS OF LOVING TO SEW
Right around 30 years ago, my sister suggested that I put my sewing talents to work. (Sewing was something my father taught me at the age of 11)! With my sister's push, I started making sweatshirt pullover appliqued designs. The business was a success! I then decided to sew the cardigan sweatshirt jackets. They were also a success! After just sewing for so many years, I finally decided to pick up a paint brush (with no art talent whatsoever). I was able to accomplish the whimsical painting technique that I have used on so many of my shirt designs. Throughout the years I have attended several art shows and have also had my merchandise in several boutique shops. I had to close the Etsy shop just after starting it in 2009 because I was unable to keep up with the volume of sales. I decided to join back up with Etsy. And now I have ventured into making primitive decor. I look forward to sharing all of my designs with all of you!
I have a wonderful husband, daughter, 3 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren and a sister. All of the family support me, and they all have their own individual piece that was created just for them.
