Being Doomed to Repeat the Past Isn't Such a Bad Thing!
Embrace the past; being doomed to repeat it isn't such a bad thing. At least this time around we can avoid some of the questionable fashion choices we made in the 90's. I'm all for progress and changing with the times, but who says we have to totally toss the past out with the bathwater? The decades pass only to be replaced with new decades that will soon pass, and they too will leave behind relics that are pretty cool, lovingly made, or have a special, personal memory attached to them.
There's a reason we crave feelings of nostalgia; who doesn't want to relive those memories we cherish?
Cassandra's Notebook began as a place for me to sell handmade paper purses. I really couldn't tell you how I came to the decision to turn my humble little shop into a vintage treasure chest, but it was a decision deeply rooted in my own love of antiques, retro clothing, brown-paged books, dusty flea market finds, and just old stuff in general.
