We make crap your cats actually want to play with!
We have two cats at home - Pippin and Pirate. Our kitty Opie was a big inspiration in starting CatCrap. Unfortunately he crossed the rainbow bridge July 4 2018. Our cats would rather play with bread ties, plastic bags, paper towel rolls, and cardboard boxes instead of the expensive toys we buy for them. Out of frustration, we let them go along playing with ‘garbage’ until one day Pippin threw up a plastic twist tie that was stuck in his throat. After that incident, we decided to start making toys for our cats that we thought they would like, but were also safe.
Thinking about the “garbage” and found items our cats love to play with, we were faced with trying to figure out WHY they loved playing with that crap so much. For Pippin, he loved picking up the twist tie, carrying it around, and would bring it to us to throw. So, we developed the toss toy. For Opie, he loved wrapping around paper towel rolls, and biting and kicking them. So, we made him a kicking stick.
This is how CatCrap came to be. We have cats who like to play with crap, and our cats sometimes act like crap. (we’re looking at you Pippin) We have developed fun, safe, and affordable toys for our crap cats to enjoy, and want to share the love with your furbabies!
