As this is a vintage glass item, and while not the most fragile piece of glass, the packaging it was shipped in was perfect for keeping it safe. Solid bubble wrap, double-boxed but in a nice form-fitting way to keep the piece protected while in transit, “Glass” written on all 4 sides of the box and on top, and also “Fragile” written on top as well. The interior box was even wrapped in an atlas-size map of Maine (which is a nice local touch!) along with a cute ribbon reading “Thank you Enjoy” in a fun font. The item was as described; great condition with some very light scratches throughout and a scuff or two (but still generally unnoticeable from any distance) as expected for its age, but no cracks and only a microscopic chip that you really have to look hard for on the bottom; it doesn’t affect its function at all. Love it!

I could not be happier!! It is an exact match for what I needed. My 115 year old house has been missing this door handle since we bought the house 45 years ago. I never thought I could find a replacement. My daughter had a picture of the original and found this. SO PLEASED!!
