Having read other reviews I was not surprised that it is quite small, but I am happy with that. It is obviously handmade and there is a tiny place inside that missed the glaze, but you cannot see that without turning it upside down so it is not an issue. Overall, it is a great buy and so much prettier than the usual type of burner.
