The passion of recycling!
I studied design and textile research at school in Sweden. When I first arrived to Italy in the early 80’s, I worked as a runway model for 11 years and at the same time as a singer, part of the Peter Jack Band, a Pop band of the 80’s.
I travelled a lot until I finally decided to settle down when I became a Mom of two wonderful boys.
After a jewellery course mastered by Davide de Paoli, a contemporary Italian sculptor who loves to mix precious metals with minor materials, I made my first jewellery collection.
CeeBee is born in 2001
Year 2006 I made my first collection totally based on recycled materials, my passion since childhood, including a complete line of accessories.
My first collection was the “Paper Collection”. Hand woven bags made from magazines, newspapers, phone books, comics and music sheets. The collection has been so successful that I still keep on making and selling these bags!
The collection “100% Italia” was born later. Beautiful bags and accessories made with antique magazines, covered with resin to make them strong and waterproof. A limited edition that earned a International Award mention for ethical design.
My “Volare” collection is an expression of paper art. Birdhouses and nests are created to remind us that human beings take from nature and that we need to give back!
The most resent bag collection is my High Mo collection, made from recycled hot air balloons. A wonderful lightweight textile. Each item has a label with registration number, flight hours carried out, name of pilot and owner.
Recently also the “Paper Garden” has been added. Paper flowers for any occasion. Home decorations, wedding bouquet’s and more made from recycled paper.
