The Central Coast Stitchworks Story

Hi there! I'm Melissa, the lady behind Central Coast Stitchworks. I love vintage-inspired styles and creating special, custom items that stand out from the crowd! I have been a maker all of my life, went to school for graphic design, and fell in love with chainstitch embroidery a few years back. It's a unique mix of machine and hand work as the operator must direct the needle with a hand crank below the machine- it's almost like drawing with thread! The result is a design that has a perfect vintage look and with the texture that gives it that handmade charm!

I had my daughter in 2022 and decided to pursue my dream of starting my own business so I could be with her. Every purchase you make helps me make that dream a reality and I can't even express how much I appreciate that support!
