I find particular enjoyment in creating useful objects. The most everyday items- a cup for morning coffee, a bowl for evening meals- can be artful and meaningful. I love making pieces that buyers will enjoy in their daily rituals. Seemingly mundane tasks can be elevated when we choose handmade items to fill our homes.

I use my pottery at home with my husband and six year old daughter. Functionality is an important element in my work. I often revisit and refine designs. If a tumbler can’t accommodate a full 12 oz. beer, I go back to the studio to make improvements!

Moroccan patterns and Indian textiles are a big influence on my current line. I'm interested in combining simple forms with fun patterns. Look for hand painted patterns on my bowls and hand carved moroccan motifs on my Luminaries! I'm inventing and listing new items all the time.
