Our Family Story
CeramicTileSpain has its roots in a small family workshop founded in 1996 by my family in Barcarrota, a small village in Extremadura, Spain.
What began as a family project grew out of a shared love of ceramics, traditional craftsmanship, and the desire to create things slowly, by hand, and with care. From the beginning, the workshop focused on decorative ceramics made using traditional techniques and manual processes, far removed from industrial production. We have always valued the creation of unique pieces.
I grew up surrounded by clay, glazes, brushes, and kilns. Over the years, I learned the value of patience, repetition, and attention to detail, essential parts of ceramic work that cannot be rushed.
Today, CeramicTileSpain continues as a small artisan project, where I decorate and finish each ceramic tile by hand, following the same spirit and respect for craftsmanship that my parents established almost three decades ago.
Each piece is carefully glazed, decorated by hand, and fired in the workshop kiln. The slight variations that appear from one tile to another are not imperfections, but a reflection of the artisanal process and the human hands behind each design.
This shop is not dedicated to mass production, but to preserving a family tradition, creating durable ceramic pieces, and sharing a part of our history with each order.
