Chai's Ties bow ties are unique as they snap onto a shirt collar, so your cat only needs one collar for his entire bow tie collection. Each single bow tie listing has an option to buy the tie plus a collar, or just the bow tie itself. Bow ties with elastic backing to slip onto a regular collar are also available. Neckties are sewn onto their collar.

Our collars are one-size fits most adult male cats white shirt collars (approximately 11.5"/29 cm) with a snap closure. To ensure the proper fit, we recommend measuring your pet's neck prior to ordering. If you would like a larger or smaller collar please leave a message in the note to seller with the desired collar size to the nearest half-inch or full centimetre, between 6' (25 cm) and 14' (35 cm). For larger sizes or for an adjustable hook-and-loop closure collar, please contact us for a custom order.

To offer you the most affordable shipping rates, standard shipping is via Canada Post Letter mail within Canada or Canada Post Small Packet to the US or International. These shipping methods are not tracked. If you are interested in tracking, the option to upgrade is available at checkout. International customers please contact us for a tracking price estimate.

If you purchase a necktie or a bow tie with a collar the default option is a one-size fits most adult male cats white shirt collar (approximately 11.5"/29 cm) with a snap closure. Are both bow ties and neckties interchangeable on the shirt collars?

Our snap-on bow ties are interchangeable so you only need one shirt collar for your cat's entire wardrobe. However, neckties are sewn onto their collar.

Must you be a cat to wear a Chai's tie?

No. We have made custom-sized collars to fit small dogs and ferrets as well and are open to other species as well! However, our bow ties and neckties would likely look too small on larger dog breeds.

Can I order a smaller tie for my kitten?

Yes! Please contact us for a custom order. We can make collars as small as 6" (15 cm.) Bow ties are easily made smaller as well. Neckties can be shortened but would look over-sized on a kitten.
