Welcome to CharestStudios, Home of the original sphere basket. My baskets and wire work have been featured in several fine publications, Bon Appetite, Better Homes and Gardens, Western Art and Architecture Magazine as well as being featured on H.G.T.V. I am very grateful to Etsy and all my wonderful customers who have made it all possible.
My current focus is on abstract and folk art paintings, collage, sculpture, mobiles and digital art. My art is designed with much concentration and tender loving care.

There are infinite things to be discovered and brought into existence through art and creativity.

I started my shop after hearing about Etsy through a friend.I had a lot of mobiles and things that I had made and never tried to sell. I thought this was a great opportunity to see if I could sell some of my creations. I was so excited with the whole process especially my first sale. I was always experimenting with different ideas and art work and this is a great way for me to be able to get feedback on my work and also partly support myself so I could do more of what I love. Now I have over 440 sales and some wonderful feedback from my customers.I have to say I am amazed how great Etsy customers are. I have never had a bad experience with a customer everyone has been great. I am grateful to Etsy for keeping this wonderful place where anyone can open a shop with no investment, no risk and learn how to run a business or just sell their creations from time to time.

Update. As of March 10th 2014 I have gone full time as an artist. I am so grateful to be able to grow as an artist do what I love. I am am very thankful to all my customers, Etsy, and all my friends, family and followers who have helped me along this journey. A big thanks to my wife, who is my biggest fan, for her love and encouragement as well as her help with bringing packages to the post office for me.Thanks to all of you. I could not do it without you.
