Charmantiques is a family-owned business of antiques specialized in French antiques from the 18th Century to the mid-20th Century, located in France. We are antique dealer for 20 years and third generation antique restorer. Each wooden work of art is meticulously restored by the book. Charmantiques only provides high quality French antiques. Each pieces is carefully selected.

Payment
Please, before buying, read our description carefully, note price and shipping charges, take a close look at the photos because it is not always easy to describe an item and ask any questions you may have before making your purchase. If you do click to buy and then change your mind, we'll just cancel the purchase if it is not shipped yet.
Shipping
* The shipping always includes a tracking number and insurance.
* Charmantiques does not profit from shipping charges and doesn't add to the packing cost and time.
* Handling times : 2-4days
* Shipping time : between 5 and 21 days. We appreciate very much your patience. If you need a quick delivery, please contact us.
* What happen if you did not receive your order ? Please, first contact us and we will open a claim to the French post. But note that can be long : a parcel has to be missing for 90 days from the shipping date before get the insurance money or just an answer to the request. Fortunately, it did not often happen. Thank you so much for your patience.
* Damaged order in transit : as soon as you receive your order, please make the damage noticed and open a refund claim at your local post office as quickly as possible. You need to make a very detailed written report. Moreover if it is possible, please open the parcel in front of the deliver to check that the item is safe.
* Import duties, taxes and charges :
They are not included in the price. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office. For the USA, all antiques of more than 100 years old are not taxed.
Additional policies and FAQs
If you find something at our store that you would like to place on layaway, let us know.
We offer a ninety-day layaway plan with an initial payment of one third down. The remaining balance is paid in three equal payments after thirty, sixty, and ninety days. Clients are mailed monthly statements until the balance has been paid in full.
If you want a shorter layaway, let us know. We can arrange a sixty-day layaway plan for example with a payment in three times of three equal payments.
Once payment has been received in full, we will send your order to you.
* Authenticity :
We guarantee the authenticity of all of our items. Our objects are cleaned and professionally restored to be the closest to their original condition.
Upon your request, we can send you an authenticity certificate resuming the item description.
* Ecology :
The only fact to sell or buy something vintage or antique is a green gesture. But we want to do more and we guarantee that we use, when possible, recycled boxes and biodegradable packages.

All orders are shipped with tracking.
How long will it take for my order to arrive?
It depends on your location:
_ USA, Canada: 6-15days
_ EU: 5-10days
_ France: 2-4days

Do you accept layaways?
Yes, I do. Please contact me to discuss your requirements.
What do I do if I have not received my order after 3 weeks?
Please, contact me and I'll do my best to know where is your order.
What do I do if I receive my order damaged ?
You must open a refund claim at your local post office as quickly as possible. Morever if it is possible, please open the box in front of the delivery man to check that the item is safe. If it is not, the deliver man will be able to notice that it arrived damaged. After a refund claim opening, the post office will begin an investigation. This investigation before being refund can take a long time. So I will appreciate very much your patience.
Will I get my order by Christmas ?
This year, Christmas is a Monday. So, the last day you can order to receive your order by Chrismas would be :
_ For the USA : the 15th December, Friday
_ For the European Union : the 18th December, Monday
_ For the rest of the world : the 13th December, Wednesday
These dates are approximate. International shipping depends on the weather and I am not able to assure with certitude that you will get your order by Christmas. With these dates, there are 80% chance to get your order by Christmas.
Quick shipping is available, the last day you could order would be the 18th, Monday December and shipping charges are more expensive. Please contact me for a quote.
Custom Taxes
IMPORT DUTIES, TAXES and CHARGES are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to buying.
