I’m at my happiest when getting lost in making and creating something.
Hi there. Thanks for popping by. I have always enjoyed making things and getting lost in the creative process. That could be with wool, wood, metal or silver and genuine crystals and gemstones. My earliest crafting memory is whilst staying with my Nan and Grandad during summer and half term breaks. My Nan used to make the most amazing Aran jumpers for all the family and I can never recall seeing her look at a pattern.
As a child I was a bit of a loner. I didn’t like going out and instead was never far away from a ball of wool or a scrapbook and felt tips.
I also really love recycling jewellery; from making something new with a bag of broken jewellery, to taking a piece of jewellery and creating something new for a friend who had a lovely heavy beaded gemstone necklace which was special to her but she didn’t wear. I turned it into several pieces of jewellery so she could keep the sentimental stones received from her mum.
There is nothing better for me than knowing someone loves something that I have made.
I am always happy to take commissions, amend something that you see and I can also add names and keychains to any zippie.
