Chasing Shadows Abroad
Over ten years ago I received my first camera, a Nikon FM10 SLR. Nothing fancy. But I fell in love with the idea of capturing a moment in time.
From that point on, my passion for photography and the image has exponentially increased. By day, I work as a cinematographer and assistant camera person in sunny California. Capturing time within a space for others to enjoy has been the main passion of my life and career path.
My other main passion is travel. I set out on my first overseas travel experience in high school and since then I have been traveling the world. In August of 2010 I bought a one way ticket, packed a backpack, grabbed my camera, and headed off on a year-long adventure across Australia, New Zealand, and Fiji. Learning more about myself and my life in that one year that I had learned in the previous 23.
Upon returning I had been told over and over to settle down, get my career started, etc etc. But all I really want to do is experience and document the ever evolving world around me. Chasing Shadows photography is about that dream. Traveling the world and photographing it for all to experience.
