Hello, I’m Cheri, the creator behind Cheri Demeter Patterns.
I create PDF sewing patterns and photo-packed tutorials for people who want to make beautiful, meaningful things with their hands — soft toys, children’s pieces, bags, accessories, and cozy home décor projects designed to become part of everyday memories.
My creative journey began by listening to my heart. I first followed a path in the health field, but deep down, it never felt like the life I was meant to build. Sewing and painting became my safe place — a quiet, creative world where I felt calm, inspired, and truly myself. Over time, that world became more than a refuge. It became my work, my joy, and the foundation of this little brand.
I have always loved working with my hands, but everything changed after the birth of my daughter. Making soft toys and handmade pieces for her opened the door to a gentler, more magical world: thoughtful designs for children, cozy little companions, and projects made with love, patience, and care.
Today, every Cheri Demeter pattern is created with that same spirit. I design each project to be beautiful, practical, and enjoyable to sew, with clear step-by-step instructions, detailed photos, and printable templates whenever needed. My goal is to make the process feel possible and comforting — even for beginners — so you can enjoy not only the finished piece, but the making of it too.
