The road so far...
About my Shop: The inspirations for my fragrances from my own life, whether it's places I've been, people I want to hug, and cool stuff I've smelled. Whenever possible, I try to use oils native to the areas I'm capturing in fragrance, or that would be worn or smelled on the people and items that I'm inspired by, in that particular time. I want to capture, as accurately as possible, how these people would smell walking through their world, and the smell of those worlds themselves.
I use jojoba, found in the Mojave, as my carrier oil. Jojoba has a 5+ year shelf life, can extend the life of other oils, and can act as a second skin while allowing the skin to breathe. I use high quality essential oils, key accords, and fragrance oils that I test extensively for accuracy of scents represented, longevity, and how well they mix with other fragrances. I also make my own blends, for such things as various fabrics, metals, or other items like pearls and teas, purely out of essential oils.
All of my fragrances are parfum concentration, meaning 20% to 30% aromatic oil to 80%-70% carrier oil.
None of my items are for resale, or use in other peoples' products.
The name of my shop is a pun, involving my love of cherries, and a word in High Speech, from In-World, known in Stephen King's The Dark Tower, which is "chary-ka".
My shop is a dedicated safe space.
