The pattern was easy to follow and came out cute. I followed it exactly but the gauge wasn't right still. It came out much larger than expected but that could be from a lot of different factors. I changed up the toe beans to be more realistic and also added on mittens to match. Overall super cute!

I had a great time with this pattern! the instructions are very clear, and the visual charts helped a lot. Can't wait to show it off this Halloween!

Love pattern fun to make

I used the basic principles of the pattern but adjusted it to suit me and my daughter’s needs.

Even though I've been crocheting for 20 years, this pattern was a bit intimating. I did as suggested and made a practice swatch, which I don't usually do. But once I got through the first repeat of the motif, it worked up smoothly! I decided to make a shawl in this pattern to compliment the dress for my daughters wedding. It took a little figuring out, but the motif pattern is flexible to be able to make a triangle shape. The swatch instructions took some working out and reference to pictures, and I would recommend swatch 2 motif wide to see how the side by side connect continually. The weight of yarn and hook size will affect the finished size, but the negative ease (first garment I've tried with this!) has decent stretch built in. Truly stunning results even before blocking!

Absolutely adorable…well-written pattern!! Can’t wait to see our grandbaby in it!
