I started creating rustic signs out of reclaimed wood for my own home. I was looking for a way to display some of the quotes that inspire me in a unique way and decided to create them myself. My husband helped me cut , sand wood and construct them into a sign. I decided on the quote and created the vision of how I wanted to display them as far as layout and fonts. I have found some stains that I love to apply very lightly and let the true beauty of the aged wood stand on its own. I love a rustic distressed look and that is what I think the signature of my signs are. I hand paint each sign myself.

After friends and family started asking me to create these signs for themselves or to give as gifts to others I decided to open this shop. I have had the opportunity to interact with people from all over the country and customize signs that they are so excited to have in their homes, businesses, and weddings with sayings that mean something special to them. This has been such a great experience and I find it so exciting to do something I feel so passionately about.
