From childhood dreams
I became interested in the art of jewelry making at my last year at university while studying social studies. The opportunity came along when my friend invited me over to her jewelry studio to experience how jewelry pieces are created. I started assisting silversmith in her studio and quickly became enamored with jewelry making. I then decided to continue my education in that field.
After moving to United States I took a class of jewelry making at the School of Museum of Fine Arts followed by 2-year full-time diploma program at the North Bennet Street School in Boston, MA. I graduated from their Jewelry Making and Repair program in February 2010. While in school I worked for Alan Leavitt Jewelers in Boston where I had an opportunity to discover the secrets of creating jewelry castings. Later I also worked for a beautiful Wellesley jewelry store, A.M. DePrisco.
As an artist and professional jeweler I enjoy process of creation from the design stage all the way through to the final product. For me working on jewelry pieces is extremely satisfying, enjoying and true journey experience with a very rewarding results.
