Mr. Simons is a true artist and this rendering of the Don Quixote story is his personal interpretation. The colors are dark but there is excitement in the air. This is a welcome addition for any bookworm who appreciates fine things.

Since this shipped from Europe, it took a little time to arrive and the bookmark is well worth the wait. The colors, primarily pastels, are deep and rich, while the portrayal of the animals has an Aesop-like timelessness. Happy to have this beauty.
