Me as an Independent Writer/Publisher/Storyteller
This is not just a comic book store -- I am also an Independent Publisher.
I have been a storyteller of sorts for as long as I can remember. I was raised on stories; my father telling my brother and I wonderful tales at bedtime.
I, in turn, told my own children similar stories - years worth of adventures for young hearts and minds.
This adventure:
The Stori comic book series came to me as if almost by accident. I 'saw' the whole thing; simply whilst traveling, thinking, enjoying my own adventure...... It seemingly popped into my mind as an already complete idea. Or at least with a beginning and an end; filling in the details would become my personal adventure.
I immediately knew that this would be a comic book/graphic novel. It was time to become an author and writer. But how?.....
How to make one?
How to find an illustrator that would understand the images and flow of the scenes?
How to write a script that would portray it all?
How can one know that it will all come together in the end?
Like I say, it has become part of my own adventure.
